Christmas

Sorry, I took so long on the latest update. I've just been so busy with Christmas. We decorated the tree and the house. We went to go see Santa Claus and saw the most amazing gingerbread houses that I've ever seen. We went caroling with Jordan's cub scout group. We also made cookies as well. We also went to our ward Christmas party. We helped clean the church and we went to my first swim meet. We also watched the First Presidency's Christmas Devotional. We had Hot Chocolate and I made Oreo cookies.(I learned how to make them at school). That's all for now, I hope you read my next post.

Halloween and Jack-O-Lanterns

Boy, I can't wait for Halloween! My costume is going to be Minnie Mouse. I might go Trick or treating with my brothers and some friends.We are also going to be involved in 2or3 parties. I am so excited for Halloween. Now I have just looked up the word"Jack-o-Lantern". You won't believe what it is named after. It is named after,"The phenomenon of strange light flickering over peat logs, called ignis fatuus or Jack-o-Lantern.(I have no idea what a peat log is ,so I am afraid that you will have to look it up for yourself, or wait for the next blog post.)Hope you read my next blog which will be posted after Halloween.

My Family and Me

Now that you know about my new blog, let me tell you about myself and my family. I am a 12-year-old teen in 7th grade. I go to Bennion Junior High and loving It. I have a mom,a dad, and three younger brothers.I am the oldest of four and the only girl(other than my mom). I have three younger brothers, and they are Jordan,who is nine, Alex, who is three, and Nathan, who is nearly three months old. We have moved about five times and I have gone to five schools, Two of them in the exact same area I just graduated from my elementary school and moved on to Junior high.I have two deaf parents and I know Sign Language.I am not going to give out any more personal info, but that's the basic outline of me, my family, and my life. A New Blog

Hi, my name is Christie Swain,I'm a twelve-year-old girl who has a lot of spirit and the determination to do my best. I'm starting my first blog and I am very excited about It. On my blog I will be telling you about stories that I wrote myself and I will always write the stories on here.I'll be giving you up-to-dates and tips on many topics. I will put new posts on my blog once or twice a week possibly three times It will depend on If there are some interesting new things going on that I will want to tell you on my blog.
